INFORMATION WE COLLECT

KYROS Access AI collects information necessary to provide and manage our services. Depending on how you interact with KYROS Access AI, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, and information related to your purchase or sponsorship.

When KYROS Access AI is purchased for an incarcerated person, we may also collect information necessary to identify and provide services to that individual, including their first and last name, identification number, correctional facility, state of incarceration, correctional system, and preferred language.

We may also collect information participants provide when they communicate with KYROS Access or submit a research request, including the information needed to understand and respond to that request.

How We Use Your Information

KYROS Access AI uses the information we collect to provide and manage our services, process purchases and sponsorships, identify and communicate with sponsoring individuals and incarcerated participants, verify enrollment information, conduct and deliver requested research, manage research usage and service plans, respond to questions or support requests, and maintain records related to our services.

We may also use information to improve the operation, security, and effectiveness of KYROS Access AI and to comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

AI-Assisted Research and Information Processing

KYROS Access AI uses artificial intelligence and other technology-assisted research tools to help conduct, organize, translate, and prepare research. We may process information provided as part of a research request through these tools when necessary to provide the requested service.

KYROS Access takes reasonable steps to limit personal information included in AI-assisted research to information necessary for the research being conducted. Whenever possible, KYROS Access does not include identifying information that is not relevant to the research request. AI-assisted research is reviewed before it is provided to a participant.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments for KYROS Access services are processed through third-party payment providers. KYROS Access does not collect, receive, view, access, or store credit or debit card numbers, banking information, or payment credentials. The third-party payment provider encrypts and processes payment information through its secure payment system.

KYROS Access receives only the transaction information necessary to confirm and manage a purchase, such as the sponsoring individual's name, email address, plan purchase, payment status, and transaction date.

HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

KYROS Access AI does not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers and technology providers when necessary to operate our website, process transactions, conduct and deliver research, communicate with participants and sponsoring individuals, or otherwise provide KYROS Access service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, court order, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of KYROS Access or others.

KYROS Access seeks to limit information shared with third parties to what is reasonably necessary for the specific service being provided.

KYROS Access services are intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. KYROS Access does not provide research or other services to incarcerated individuals under the age of 18 and does not knowingly collect or process personal information for minors. Sponsoring individuals may not enroll or purchase KYROS Access service for anyone under 18. If KYROS Access becomes aware that a minor has been enrolled, it will not provide the service.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

KYROS Access may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements. Any updates will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
